An Alternative to Increase Accumulation of Phenolic Compounds in Grapevine Callus Cultures: Chemical Mutagen Applications

چکیده
This research was carried out to investigate the effects of chemical mutagens on producing phenolic compounds in calli obtained from Royal grape variety. Petioles were cultured B5 medium (0.5 mg/L benzyl amino purine and 0.5 indole acetic acid) obtain callus. Calli subcultured same nutrient three times at one month intervals. In fourth subculture, transferred media with composition containing ethyl methanesulfonate, sodium azide, azacitidine acridine orange different doses mM, 1.0 2.0 mM) these mediums for 60, 120 180 minutes then they four weeks mutagen-free content as their previous mediums. After that total compound, flavanol, flavonol anthocyanin analyzes performed. As a result, all applied are effective increasing production depending dose time. Applications of UV-B lighting to increase phenolic accumulation of Alo vera L. plants
Since supplemental UV-B radiation can provide a simple and economical alternative to increase phenolic compounds in plants, we evaluated the dynamic biological responses of Alo vera L. plants to different UV-B doses (10 and 30 kJ m−2 day−1). The experiment was performed on the basis of Completely Randomize Design with 4 independent replications. Under high light conditions (600 µmol m−2 s−1), U...
متن کاملInfluence of culture age and spermidine treatment on the accumulation of phenolic compounds in suspension cultures.
The influence of cell age on phenol accumulation was examined by determining the quantity of individual phenols which accumulated in Paul's scarlet rose cultures of increasing age. During log-phase growth (days 7 and 11), only gallic acid and epicatechin-catechin were detected; whereas, during early and late stationary phase (days 14 and 35), several other phenols were present in addition to ga...
متن کاملEffect of Sodium Chloride on Tropane Alkaloids Accumulation and Proline content in Datura metel and D. stramonium callus cultures.
Plant tissue culture techniques were used to study the effect of NaCl on tropane alkaloids accumulation and proline content of both Datura metel and Datura stramonium. Callus cultures were established for both Datura species. However, MS medium supplemented with 1mg/l of both BA and NAA was the best for callus production in D. metel, while MS supplemented wit...

متن کاملCallus Induction and Application of Methyle Jasmonate to Increase Dopamine in Portulaca oleracea L.
Purslane (Portulaca oleracea L.) contains valuable ingredients such as dopamine, noradrinalin and omega-3. The increase of secondary metabolites by elicitors is widely used in tissue culture of medicinal plants. The aim of this study was to assess effect of plant growth regulators on callus induction and amount of dopamine in callus tissue of purslane under the influence of methyl jasmonate as ...
